Disappearing KPIs
The SEC-filing watchlist companies’ archived quarterly results decks, and the metrics management put in them. Every company sits on one map by how many metrics it tracks and how many of them are still in the latest deck; a red dot has stopped showing at least one. Pick a dot or a row to see which ones, deck by deck.
Decks read as of 2026-10-26.

The map puts each company at the number of metrics it tracks (across) and the share of them still in its latest deck (up). Red dots have dropped at least one, and a bigger dot has dropped more; the shaded band is under half kept. Dots on the same spot are spread sideways. The rule: a metric is tracked once it has appeared in at least two decks, and dropped if a tracked metric is missing from the latest deck. Persistence is the share of tracked metrics still shown.
The inspector lists every metric the company showed, the ones not in the latest deck first, with one column per deck from the oldest to the latest. A filled square is shown, a dashed one is left out after the metric first appeared.
Not every blank is a cover-up. Annual figures appear only in fourth-quarter decks and a metric can be renamed. The note under each metric says what the deck reader observed.
